NOTE:  It seems like only yesterday that we were reporting on Russia’s humiliating ejection from the world basketball championships for men.  If Russians had any hope that their women’s team would bring glory to make them forget that shame, they were rudely awakened from their silly dream by, of all countries, hapless little Belarus at the women’s championships last week. Ouch.
