NOTE: We don’t know if such facts are of general interest to our readers, but we like to be as transparent as we can so we’ll let you know that our traffic pattern over the past month has been an exciting one. Click the jump if you want to know the details.

Our lowest level of traffic tends to occur on Saturdays, and this figure rose steadily throughout the month. Our slowest day increased from 2,500 to 2,900 to 3,200 to 3,300. The same steady improvement was apparent on our peak days, typically Wednesdays. Our busiest day increased from 3,800 to 4,600 to 5,700 to 6,100 (our single-day traffic had not exceeded 6,000 since Russia invaded Georgia last August and our best day during the war is still our best day ever, but we are closing in on it as Obama turns his attention to Russia and Putin grows ever more crazed, as we document in #3 today). Our worst day day at the end of the month is now as good as our best day at the beginning of the month. Impressive, no?
