  1. Tower Bolshevik

Its is not surprising that this blog white washes the head of the racist, chauvinistic Georgian government. Ossetians, Abkhazians, ethnic Russians, and other of Georgia’s minorities have been subjected to a racist policy “Georgia for Georgians” established by the Amnesty International member Zviad Gamsakhurdia after the fall of the Soviet Union. Its been policy through Shevardnadze and now Saakashvili. Funny, you can trash Russia for its racist and militaristic policy in Chechnya; but applaud Georgia with it does the same thing. Its “democracy, right?

Self Determination for Abkhazia and South Ossetia!

  2. Racist? Hate to break this to you Boris but you’re all White. Don’t get me wrong, I know that “White” isn’t a race and that there are cultural and ethnic differences blah blah but you sound like one of those Muslims who calls me a racist when I point out Islam is in need of reform.

Georgia is trying to bring that region out of it’s backward Communist past and that’s why Russia is angry. Didn’t one of your precious South Ossetians get caught trying to sell radioactive material to terrorists? Didn’t Abkhazia mysteriously “lose” enriched uranium in the early 90s? Sounds more like their a den of terrorist loving degenerates to me, rather than freedom fighters.

  3. From “The Whisperers,” by Orlando Figes, a documented book about Stalin’s Great Terror, page 420:

Contrary to the Soviet myth of wartime national unity, Soviet society was more fractured during the war than at any pervious time since the Civil War. Ethnic divisions had been exacerbated by the Soviet state, which scapegoated certain national minorities, such as the Crimean Tatars, the Chechens and the Volga Germans, and exiled them to regions where they were not welcomed by the local populace. Anti-Semitism, which had been largely dormant in Soviet society before the war, now became widespread.

  4. Just passing through, but when did “racism” become a justification for murder. By Tower Bolshevic’s rationale the united states could violate russia’s sovereignty strictly because of their treatment of christians and jews.

Never mind the Poles, Ukranians, Romanians, Tajikistanis, Afganis, Belarusians, Latvians, Lithuanians, Moldovians, Hungarians, Czechs, Bulgarians, Latvians, Estonians, and I appologise if I left anyone out, but this list is getting a little to long.

FOR ROB TAYLOR: You’re obviously a typical brainwashed American. My name is not Boris, I’m not Russian, Slavic, European. I don’t recall calling you a racist. Off the subject. I was calling the Georgian government racist, because their “Georgia for Georgians” policy. Oh, but its democracy, right? Because they’re friends of America, just like white supremacist South Africa. “terrorist loving degenerates”, LOL! That’s was exactly what the Russians said when they unleashed their bloodbath in Chechnya. But America has never really had a problem with terrorism: The Afghan and Bosnian Mujahideen, the KLA in Kosovo, the Contras in Nicaragua. You might want to update your calender by about 17 years. Capitalism returned in 1991. There is no more Communist regimes in Eastern Europe.

FOR SEANQUIXOTE: The U.S/NATO bombed Serbia back into the stone age, violated Serbian sovereignty and stole a piece of their land in 1999. The excuse was the lie of “ethnic cleansing”. But can they do it it Russia? Certainly not, what with their forces spread too thin, being bogged down in two losing wars, engulfed in an economic crisis; the USA could not possibly violate Russian sovereignty.

Nevermind the Vietnamese, Koreans, Japanese, Dominicans, Grenadans, Nicaraguans, Salvadorians, Chileans, Panamanians, Filippinos, Cambodians, Laotians, Cubans, Angolans, Haitans, Somalis, Serbians, Iraqis, Afghans, Puerto Ricans, Guatemalans, Brazilians, and sorry if I left anyone out. But the list is WAY TOO LONG. All on behalf of America bringing them “freedom”, “democracy”, “human rights”.

For Elmer: None of your sources has any credibility. During the war the Red Army was comprised of all the peoples of the Soviet Union: Chechens, Tatars, Georgians, Jews, etc. In fact 50 Chechens were awarded the honored title of “Hero of the Soviet Union”. Stalin deported the Chechens, Crimean Tatars, Volga Germans for “collaborating with the Nazis”, which was false. He spread this rubbish to those regions where the deportees were sent. But as far as the Red Army or the Partisans, it was strictly multinational.

  8. bolshoivek, if you have a source, cite it. Otherwise, you are just blowing hot air.

Stalin’s “No Step Backward” order killed more rooshan troops than did the Nazis. Stalin and his henchmen simply kidnapped assorted people, including scapegoated nationalities, for free labor.

Orphans were deliberately given false documents, so as to make them older and eligible for the Red Army. Thus, the Red Army had 14 and 15-year old tank drivers.

In other words, while Nazis were killing the “multinational” Red Army, so was Stalin and his henchmen.

All of this is very well documented in “The Whisperers” – and in many other books, especially after Stalin’s war order came to light.

And the rooshan have learned NOTHING from the brutality of their assorted “governments,” if one can even call them that.

The current regime is only a kleptocracy, run for the benefit of Vlad Dracul Putin and a few other privileged “elites.”
