Happy Mother’s Day in Russia . . . NOT!
Last week a commenter pointed to a recent survey by Save the Children which ranked the 43 “more developed” nations of the world in terms of their suitability for motherhood.
Only five of them were found less suitable than Russia. That’s right, Vladimir Putin’s Russia was more hostile than 37 of the 43 “more developed” nations of the world.
Last Sunday was Mother’s Day in the USA. Russians, for their part, don’t even have have a holiday devoted to mothering. And one can readily see why. Happy Mother’s Day, Russians!
In other words, Russia is in the bottom 15% of all developed nations when rated for treatment of mothers and children. Suck on that for a while, Russophile rabble. Do you believe Save the Children is a bastion of Russophobic bias, even as you believe the proud KGB spy who rules Russia releases data that can be believed? Are you that hysterically insane?
This news can come as no surprise to readers of this blog, who know that one Russian woman is murdered by her husband every half an hour and that Russia leads the world in rate of abortions and suicides. Russia is, in other words, nothing short of a meat grinder for women and children, and these statistics say nothing about the brutal emotional abuse inflicted by drunken, violent, selfish Russian men. The only comfort for Russian women, it seems, is that these brutes are not likely to live to see their sixtieth year.
Little wonder, then, that Russia does not rank in the top 100 nations of the world for fertility. What sane woman would want to bring new life into a world so brutally cold and hostile?
